Asado Argentinian Burger Review

Ready to experience the secrets of Argentina AND eat one of the best burgers around? Time to visit Asado Argentinian Grill & Cafe. As soon you walk in to the restaurant you realize you’re about to experience a new culture. The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable and warm. The staff is friendly, helpful and Argentinian. The tables are close together, the service is personal and you feel at home as soon as you sit down. After being handed a menu you’re ready to hunt down the burger menu which includes a Utah Bacon Burger (burguer), Ausie Asado Burger (burguer), Feta Burger (burguer), or the Asado Burger (burguer).

This time I went with the Asado Burger which is made of chuck beef, grilled red bell peppers, grilled onion and cheddar cheese with their delicious chimichurri. What is chimichurri you ask? Chimichurri is a wonderful Argentinian medly of finely chopped parsley, garlic, olive oil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and white or red wine vinegar. In its red version, tomato and red bell pepper may also be added. I also got an order of their fries for good measure.

The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. The texture with the bun and ingredients made each bite pleasant, juicy and flavorful. In a way it was like the burger melted in your mouth (seriously). The grilled peppers and onions added just enough power to the burger to bring the whole thing together but the real kicker was the chimichurri. The wetness and flavor that the chimichurri brought to the burger made my taste buds dance. The bun was tender and unique. The fries were reliably delicious and the platter it was served on brought the whole thing together. If this is what Argentina has for burgers, I may be moving!

I highly recommend Asado Argentinian Grill & Cafe. They are located next to Pizzeria 712 (also good…but no burgers).
