My First Johnny Rockets
On By BurgerVoice
Johnny Rockets started in the 1980s as a place to escape a complicated world and experience uncomplicated goodness of Americana. Johnny Rockets is filled with potential and just one visit to their site and you’ll sense the culture that they are trying to instill. Now for the Johnny Rockets tagline of The Original Burger. After sitting down our waitress was nice enough to highlight The Original and The #12 as the best burgers at Johnny Rockets. One has their special chili ketchup and one is the original, I think you can tell which is which. Continue Reading

Well Red Robin, you’ve peaked my curiosity once again and this time it’s called the Tavern Double. By itself, the Tavern Double is simply a Red Robin gourmet burger with two patties but then they went and added cool options like “Pig Out Style”, “Cry Baby Style” and “Fiery Ghost Style”. When faced with tears, fire or a pig I’ll always side with pig so Pig Out Style Tavern Double from Red Robin is today’s burger for review.
The Nut Butter Burger from Lucky 13 was an amazing combination of peanut buttery smoked bacon goodness with a juicy beef patty, lettuce, tomatoes and onions between a deliciously prepared hamburger bun of goodness. In other words, I had a great burger at Lucky 13 today and it was called The Nut Butter Burger.
It’s always a fun time when traveling to a new area for a burger. Today’s burger was the ParkStone Burger at Farmington, Utah’s ParkStone Wood Kitchen. It smelled so smokey good upon entering ParkStone that I was excited just to breath the sweet hickory wood fumes all afternoon. The good news is they stayed on my clothes so I was able to get reminders. ParkStone Wood Kitchen is a big restaurant with plenty of seating and plenty of televisions playing all over and I was ready for a great experience. Time for the review.
It’s burger time again. Cubby’s Chicago Beef is a new addition to the dining scene in Provo and worth the drive. Already getting ready for expansion, Cubby’s was packed with smiling patrons and when The Houdini and DragonSlayer were the burger names, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere of Cubby’s is immediately welcoming, warm and screams good food. The menu is loaded with beefy options, great sauces and 3 types of french fries. Today’s experience was the mighty DragonSlayer.
Whenever a place is named Burger Bar you assume greatness. That’s what Guy Fieri from Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited the Burger Bar in Roy, Utah a few years ago. With a visit from Food Network and a name like Burger Bar it’s about time for BurgerVoice to head on over and see what all the fuss is about. Known for the Big Ben burger (and ice cream), the Burger Bar in Roy is a classic drive-in with plenty of outdoor benches to sit and wait on while your order is being made behind the giant ordering windows. Constant flows of people are well managed by the diner style employees with the diner hats and everything. Everything you need to know is in big writing above the ordering windows and the prices are surprisingly reasonable, even after Food Network popularity. Now for the burger review.
