Chubby’s Southern BBQ Burger

Good news burger lovers, Chubby’s Cafe in Pleasant Grove has a new burger on the menu and it’s delicious. The Southern BBQ burger is newly listed as a burger option on the menu so it seems to make sense that it becomes today’s burger review. You already know I’m a fan of Chubby’s and dream of their fries on a regular basis but I still had my doubts about the their take on a bbq burger. With that said, here we go. Continue Reading

Ready for a Provo burger experience? Station 22 is located at 22 W. Center Street in the heart of Provo, loaded with personality and a menu full of new takes on American favorites. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable with a hint of hip and cool. Although they don’t call themselves a burger joint, the atmosphere is perfect for devouring a delicious burger. One important detail is that their burgers aren’t just regular beef burgers, Station 22 is a beefalo burger establishment with fresh beefalo meat from Utah’s own beefalo ranch. Today’s burger was the Honest Abe with added bacon and beer battered fries.
Stein Eriksen is noted a world-class resort. Their 5 Star rating and multiple awards ranks them among the world’s best lodges and resorts but the big question has to be how is their burger? The Stein Burger is one of the most popular items on their menu (according to multiple waitress sources) and they’ve got all the quality foods necessary to make a beautifully amazing burger so today’s adventure was to Park City, Utah for the Stein Eriksen Lodge’s Stein Burger. Note that it is only served in their bar and outside dining, not in their restaurant.
Ostrich burger you ask? That’s right, Ostrich. And it was darn good. It could have been the pepper cheese combination added to the Ostrich or the garlic fries on the side or the wonderfully toasted bun but I’ll sum it all up by saying the Ostrich burger was fantastic. One of my favorite things about Lucky 13 is their Facebook page updates highlighting the new burgers, new specials and daily deals that are going on. If I lived closer to 1300 South in the Salt Lake City area, I’d be a big, big boy from all the Lucky 13 meals that’s for sure. Now for today’s Ostrich burger review.
Do you have a bucket list? You know, a list of things you want to accomplish sometime in your lifetime? BurgerVoice does and Heart Attack Grill was on that bucket list. Originally started in Arizona, Heart Attack Grill is on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, Nevada. Right on the corner with a huge weigh scale in front so you can see if you are over or under 350 lbs. (over 350 lbs. eats for free). There’s also an ambulance stationed right out front just in case. We walked in to Heart Attack Grill with a big smile on my face and was greeted by a scrubs wearing doctor who gave me a wrist band and hospital gown to wear and took us to our table. Game on!
Shark Bites Café in Coos Bay, Oregon shares a building with Waxers surf shop which means it’s not only a good place to eat but it’s cool. Oregon cool means it’s comfortable, welcoming, great service and genuinely local food. From their Halibut burgers to their slaw tacos, even the locals talk about Shark Bites. The driftwood décor with burlap sacks on one wall, surf boards on the other and good music playing throughout was immediately welcoming and the food backed up all of my hopes for a great lunch.
