America’s Best Cheeseburger – It’s Official

I think we can all agree that the official pulse of food in america is The Food Network and I am happy to know that they have crowned the best burger in America as the 10 o’clock burger from Holeman & Finch Public House in Atlanta, Georgia.  I believe it’s because The Food Network hasn’t yet been to Communal in Provo but I’m anxious to get to Atlanta and try the 10 o’clock burger.  Now that Holeman & Finch Public House is amazingly famous and home to America’s best cheeseburger they’ve also shared their “secret sauce” with Taste of Atlanta and I’m here to share. Cotton Bottom Inn Garlic Burger

Cotton Bottom Inn Garlic BurgerWell today was a big day, as I experienced the Cotton Bottom Inn’s Garlic Burger.  Experienced is the right way to describe today’s burger because the entire hour was truly a burger experience.  Cotton Bottom, as it’s called by employees and regulars, is located near the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon in Holladay, Utah (official Cotton Bottom Inn address is 2820 E 6200 S Holladay, UT 84121).  It’s been around for a very long time and although the sign out front is faded and weathered, the burger is as good as ever. Giant Burgers Causing Jaw Injuries

As reported in “the news” out of Australia, there are a more and more people suffering jaw injuries as restaurants make bigger and bigger burgers.  The China Post quoted professor Hsu Ming-lung of the School of Dentistry at National Yang-Ming University (in Taiwan) as saying patients have developed sore jaws and had difficulties opening their mouths after consuming giant burgers.  I’m sure it’s not just in Taiwan but maybe they are the first to complain about the cause of jaw injuries being these overwhelming burgers BUT if a burger is big enough to cause a jaw injury then I need to try it.
