Hamburgers beat out Hot Dogs on Independence Day

Thank you to MyWebGrocer for pointing out that Americans love their Independence Day weekend burgers 105% more than any other time.  I’m happy to even point out that frozen veggie patties were on the up and up as well which makes sense since just because your a vegetarian doesn’t mean you want to skip out on a burger to celebrate Independence.

Some other interesting facts from their findings include an increase of only 5% for ketchup and 10% for mustard, both important mainstays for any hamburger experience.  Overall, it’s good to know that burgers celebrate independence more than any other food.  Hot dogs were only up 38%, so take that!
