Rubios All American Cheeseburger Taco

Today was an interesting twist in my Burger Blog chronicles.  Rubio’s is pretty new to Utah and American Fork was somehow blessed with their presence.  I absolutly love their Fish Tacos but this is a Burger Blog not a fish taco site so here goes my review.

I’ll admit I was a little nervous about the idea of a taco burger but the picture made it look quite nice and so I ordered the lunch special and was pleasantly surprised by the experience.  The meat was half-a-patty with their regular dressing, lettuce and shell.  The first bite was very flavorful but it certainly wasn’t a burger taste.  Imagine eating a taco but instead of seasoned ground beef you get half a patty….you’ve just experienced the All American Burger Taco.

In all honesty I won’t be eating it again.  Rubio’s is famous for their fish tacos and there is a good reason.  Simply put, It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either.
