White Castle Sliders, Cheeseburgers and Fries
I am no longer a White Castle virgin. That’s right, it happened. Last night I experienced my first White Castle slider, White Castle cheeseburger, White Castle A1 slider, White Castle bacon cheeseburger and White Castle fries. In other words, I got my White Castle on. I immediately had a combination of interesting scenes go through my mind including a little Harold and Kumar mixed with the White Castle Under Cover Boss episode I watched recently, both very different yet intriguing. Bacon Cheese Burger at Arshel’s Cafe in Beaver, Utah
With Five burgers on the menu at Arshel’s Cafe it wasn’t hard for me to pick the Bacon Cheese Burger. The Bacon Cheese Burger details are simple: 1/3 lb. Beef Patty with bacon & melted cheddar cheese on a toasted bun all served with lettuce, tomato, pickle and fries. When you first drive up to Arshel’s Cafe you are hit by the fact that this is an official “small town cafe” with tasty potential written all over it. Iowa City’s Hamburg Inn Bacon Cheeseburger
Iowa City is home of the Hawkeyes and the Hamburg Inn. In my first visit to Iowa, it was decided that I needed to try the Hamburg Inn and one of their delicious hamburgers. Apparently the Hamburg Inn is one of Iowa City’s oldest restaurants and the walls are covered in pictures of Presidents and Politicians over the last several decades partaking of the Hamburg Inn goodness.
