austina Restaurant is a fantastic Salt Lake City restaurant and I was quite pleasantly surprised to see a Chipotle Cheeseburger on their menu. Apparently Faustina’s also has a turkey burger on their lunch menu but we’ll save that for another day. The Chipotle cheeseburger at Faustina’s is quite simply delicious. The angus beef patty is a 90/10 meat with a lot of great work done at the restaurant to make it moist and right. The chipotle addition to the beef and topping the cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese results in a kick that isn’t overwhelming but definitely let’s you know it’s there. Continue Reading

d Robin is famous because they make very unique and special burgers. Their Ultimate burger has to be the Royal Red Robin burger and guess what, it’s time for the official review. The best thing about the Royal Red Robin burger is the fried egg on top. In fact, I’d venture to say that adding a fried egg to any burger will make it better. Priced at $8.99 this is a pretty good sized burger that has to be wrapped tightly by the cooks for make it presentable because as soon as you undo the wrapping (think Christmas time everyone) this burger bursts out at you and is messy ’til the end. Communal is a new restaurant in the heart of Provo, Utah right next to the Wells Fargo building. It’s run by the same folks that created Pizzeria 712 in Orem (apparently 712 degrees is the perfect temperature for cooking pizza). When I found out that Communal has a lunch menu and that one of the items is a burger and fries, I bumped it to the top of the list and just had to check it out. With expectations soaring, I did it. Rocky Mountain Drive Inn has seen a lot of burger history in Provo. As soon as you pull up you realize that this place has serious potential and character.
